Meeting the Easter Bunny

This morning we took Cole to meet the Easter Bunny at the mall! It's always surprising how not crowded the mall is when you go in the middle of the week!

He was sound asleep when we arrived and was not too interested in being entertained. Sleeping was a higher priority. This is the closest we got to a big smile :)

And because you can never get enough baby grins, here's a picture from this weekend. Cole loves sitting in his high chair when we're in the kitchen!

Furry Children

In addition to Cole we have two furry children. Baloo and Bella.

Baloo is the darker one and has quite the personality. He'll be three this summer but looks like an old man filled with wisdom. In reality instead of being filled with wisdom he's filled with mischief. He is too smart for his own good. Too frequently we'll hear him barking outside and he's just sitting in the middle of the yard making noise and watching the door because he knows being loud is a ticket back indoors. Baloo has figured out how to open our new baby gates and has no problem 'going limp' whenever you want him to move. 'Do you want to...' is his favorite phrase.

Bella is lighter and very sweet. She is soft and fluffy and loves a good belly rub. She will follow you into any room and is terrified of the vaccuum cleaner, hair dryer, feet (unless of course they are rubbing her belly), the printer and the washing machine. She'll be two this summer and she is very well behaved. She loves to be outdoors and sunbathing is her favorite activity.
