Thunder Night

A coworker gave us tickets to a Thunder Season ticket holder appreciation event for last night. It was a blast! Thunder girls, players, rumble, free hotdogs (I LOVE sporting event food!).

First we visited the team store (we didn't have time to run home and change Cole into his thunder gear) and got Cole the only shirt in his size that was not pink! Then we went and watched some players hang out with a group of kids on the court. Here's me and the future Thunder player enjoying the view from the front row!

Then we stood in linefor face painting. Turned out great!

He was unimpressed with this waiting in line business. But the painter was super fast and he loved the feeling of the cold paint. Ryan took him to the bathroom so he could look in the mirror and he was impressed!
Then we ran into some Thunder Girls and snapped a couple pics! Cole loved them, he was on cloud nine hanging out with them!

Cole's patience was running thin so we did not wait in line to meet any if the players or Rumble, but we did have a blast! Here's Cole and Ryan checking out a big tv screen

He was worn out by the time we got home

I know, I know, I have not done a great job blogging this month, hopefully it will pick up from here...
Here's the cutie getting in a good nap while at Grammy's house.

Having fun on Mom's day off!

I had President's Day off last week. So what did we spend the day doing... Running errands. Cole made the best of it and brought his great smiles everywhere.

Balloon Fun

Today cole went to Chick-fil-a with Grammy & Grampy. He got a balloon and enjoyed posing with it.

And then he was very confused about why he couldn't throw it on the ground.

Lubbock

This past weekend Cole and I flew out to Lubbock to spend time with some family as they lost a son last week. It was a very sad trip but it was great to be around family during such a heartbreaking time.

You might remember a post from several months ago when cousins Kim, Courtney and Beau visited. I mentioned that Don had not had a chance to meet Cole well they were finally able to meet this weekend!

I was also able to get a picture of the 'Birthday Buddies'. December 12 is a popular day! And even more so now, cousin Hank was born on 12/12 this last year and he is missing from the picture. Hopefully next time! Here's Sherman, Grammy and Cole!

This week

Cole has had a fever off and on all week. We're pretty sure he's teething because the drool is out of control and he seems to have no other symptoms. Cole has never just laid down and gone to sleep for a nap, but he must be tired because he did just that a couple times this weekend.

And for the next one he combed onto the couch all by himself so he could be with Mr. Frog and the soft blankets.

But through the pain he still had some happy moments.

And yesterday he woke up without a fever so we went to eat at our fave sushi place, Nhinja. Cole loves posing in cardboard cutouts. Here's cole the ninja!
